Pr. El-Hassane AGLZIM received, in 2004, the “DESS” degree (Post-graduate diploma) in embedded electronics systems from the University of Metz, France.
In 2005, he received the M.Sc. degree science engineering, from the University of Nancy, France. After that, he joined the Instrumentation and Microelectronics Group of the LIEN Laboratory (LIEN), University of Nancy, France, where he started his Ph.D. thesis under the supervision of Pr. Amar ROUANE.
In October 2009, Aglzim obtained the Ph.D. degree in the Instrumentation and Microelectronics (IM) Science from the University of Nancy. His Ph.D. thesis was entitled « Characterization by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy method of the complex impedance of a fuel cell – evaluation of the influence of humidity ».
From 2009 to 2010, he completed a PostDoc in the System and Transportation Laboratory (SeT) in Belfort, France, under the supervision of Pr. Abdellatif MIRAOUI. During this PostDoc, he applied the EIS method to the multi-dimensional model of a PEM Fuel Cell. He joined the energetic team of the DRIVE laboratory (ISAT of Nevers) in September 2010 as an associate professor.
In November 2018, he was awarded the « Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches » (HDR) from the University of Burgundy for his research on the « Energy management in the Electric and Hybrid Vehicles and their infrastructure ». He was also from september 2019 to september 2020, member of the CNU63 group (The National Council of Universities).
In september 2020, he was promoted to Full Professor at the University of Burgundy. His current research interests the battery and energy optimisation/management in the Electric and Hybrid Vehicles and smartgrid. In parallel to his research works, he teaches electrical engineering, signal acquisition, electrical motors and hybrid/electric vehicles.
He heads the « Energetic and Autonomous Vehicles » department of the ISAT engineering school and the « Smart and Connected Systems » research team of the DRIVE laboratory. Pr. Aglzim holds the French research expertise bonus (PEDR) by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research since 2016.
